Members can fish many waters in and around the Cranleigh area. The Club
own two great ponds situated in the centre of Cranleigh known as
"The Fisheries". The first pond has enough room for 15 anglers and
is full to the brim with Tench,Crucian Carp, Perch, Roach, Rudd and
Gudgeon. The second pond has enough room for a dozen or so anglers
and is stocked with mainly Carp between 5lb and 25lb, although Tench,
Perch, Roach,Rudd, Pike AND large double figure Grass Carp are present.

The Clubs most well known venue is "Wyphurst Lake" which is well reported
in the Angling Press for its very impressive Match Results . The venue has 28
permanent pegs which have nearly all won Matches. Last season You often
needed 100LB + to win!! The Club has two more small ponds and a stretch
of river in Bramley which they share with another local Club.
Our Club has a very comprehensive Match Diary, usually We get 10-20 anglers,
which makes for a very friendly atmosphere. We have many friendly matches
with other local Clubs including; Shamley Green AS, Rudgwick AS, Godalming
AS, and Dorking AS taking us to many more fairly local Rivers, Ponds and Canals.

We also hold a few Open Matches, usually on our ever popular Wyphurst
Lake during each season. Although being Opens these Matches are a very
friendly affairs and are obviously open to non members as well as members.
Well worth entering one or two if you are considering joining our Club to fish
Matches.
